Organizational Structure

The Department of Social Welfare, Kaohsiung City Government has one commissioner hired by the mayor to oversee general department affairs and to supervise department staff and two Deputy Director-general、Executive Secretary、two Assistant Director-general to assist in department affairs. The Department also has eleven Divisions(Civic Associations Division、Social Assistance Division、Senior Citizens’ Welfare Division、Disabled Welfare Division、Children’s Welfare Division、Women’s Welfare and Protection Service Division、Social Work Division、Secretariat、Accounting Office、Personnel Office、Civil Service Ethics Office), eleven Center (Ren-ai Senior Citizens' Home、Children Welfare Service Center、Home For The Disabled、Senior Citizens' Service Center、Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Center、Eastern District Social Welfare Center、Western District Social Welfare Center、Southern District Social Welfare Center、Northern District Social Welfare Center、Central District Social Welfare Center、Department of Social Affairs Women, Children and Youth Center).
